Who This Guide Is For

This guide is for new Xpitro customers who are preparing to evaluate, trial, or launch the platform for their organisation.

What Xpitro Is

Xpitro is an organisation-first, AI-assisted governance and compliance operations platform. It helps customers manage governance activities, evidence, reporting, and operational assurance in one governed system rather than across disconnected tools.

Before You Begin

Before starting, make sure you know:

  • which Xpitro edition your organisation is using;
  • who will act as the primary organisation administrator;
  • who will manage day-to-day governance and compliance work;
  • whether your onboarding is self-serve, assisted, partner-led, or enterprise-guided.

Typical First Steps

Most customers begin with the following sequence:

  1. Confirm the organisation subscription or trial.
  2. Verify the primary owner or administrator account.
  3. Access the Customer Portal.
  4. Complete the initial organisation setup.
  5. Create or connect the first workspace or tenant context.
  6. Invite the first operational users.
  7. Start the first governance or compliance workflow.

What Happens After Self-Service Checkout

If you signed up directly through the pricing page rather than through a sales-assisted or partner-led process, here is exactly what happens next:

  1. After payment is confirmed, you are taken to a checkout confirmation screen that shows your plan is active and directs you to continue account setup.
  2. You verify your email and set a password to create your identity with Xpitro.
  3. You name your organisation to complete setup. Your subscription is automatically linked to your new organisation at this point - there is no separate step to "activate" it.
  4. You are guided through a short setup checklist covering your organisation profile, your team, and your plan's entitlements.
  5. Your first sign-in to the application workspace completes onboarding.

If you were invited by someone else at your organisation rather than being the person who checked out, you will instead receive an email with a secure invitation link. Opening that link and accepting the invitation takes you through the same identity-verification step above, joining the organisation your inviter already created.

If setup does not complete automatically for any reason, our support team can complete it manually on your behalf - contact support and your access will not be lost or duplicated.

What To Prepare

To get value quickly, have the following ready:

  • organisation name and billing details;
  • the initial administrator and key user email addresses;
  • the first programme, framework, or operational scope you want to manage;
  • any key documents, evidence, or existing policies you expect to work with.

Understanding Xpitro Surfaces

Customers may interact with several product surfaces:

  • public website: product, pricing, legal, and contact information;
  • customer portal: commercial and customer account activities;
  • application workspace: day-to-day governance and compliance work;
  • console: internal Xpitro operator surface, not a normal customer destination.

Choosing The Right Entry Path

Your initial path depends on your customer type:

  • Essentials: usually self-serve or low-touch start;
  • Professional: self-serve or sales-assisted depending on complexity;
  • Partner: guided setup for multi-organisation operation;
  • Enterprise: guided onboarding and commercial review.

First Success Milestones

Your first signs of success should be:

  • your organisation is active and accessible;
  • the right people are invited;
  • your first workflow or assessment is started;
  • evidence can be added and managed;
  • reporting and AI-assisted features are understood by your team.
